Quality Assurance
Expert, hands-on management of all transcription professionals ensures high productivity and adequate availability to meet both urgent and high volume needs. Scribetech only hires experienced and well qualified medical transcriptionists. We maintain a rigorous 'Quality Assurance' system and put all our professionals through a meticulous training programme following AAMT standards (American Association of Medical Transcription) to ensure a high accuracy rate for all transcribed reports. We assign a full time quality assurance team to each account, which builds familiarity with doctors and their preferences. We also feel it is essential for our organisation to conduct daily audits to ensure quality compliance.
Quality
We use a six point quality check and a multi-tier quality assurance system in order to ensure that your documents are transcribed accurately and quickly. Our standard quality policy is derived from SNOMED clinical terms (Systemised Nomenclature of Medicine) and we deliver an accuracy rating of 98%.
Transcribed report formats
We use standard report formats for the various types of reports; such as Discharge Summaries, SOAP Notes, Operative notes, etc. You can specify which format to use at the beginning of each dictation. If this is not done, then our transcriptionists will use the one that seems best suited to the content.
Customer Specification
Clients provide us with their letterheads containing logos and labels for us to create their unique templates. Preferred report specifications and standards are also provided; i.e. allergies to be capitalised and bolded, number of spaces between the last paragraph and signature line, preferred fonts, patient's name to be italicised, etc.
